Taurine: Benefits for Exercise and Recovery

Taurine is one of those ingredients you see everywhere, from energy drinks to pre-workout blends, yet few people can say what it actually does. It is often lumped in with stimulants, but taurine is not a stimulant at all. Here is an honest, evidence-based look at what taurine is and whether it helps with exercise and recovery.
What is taurine?
